Our family had a fantastic stay at The Old Cross Inn! The rooms were spacious and clean, featuring a comfortable bed and a mini fridge with fresh milk. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.
Unfortunately, my stay was marred by several disappointments. The room I was given felt dark and lacking in basic amenities that were promised, like a proper hospitality tray. the breakfast options were limited, without any fresh fruit or a variety of cereals, which left me unsatisfied during my stay.

The super comfy bed and well-stocked tea/coffee set-up were just amazing! Dinner in the bar was fab too. Only downside was the slightly dark decoration. 🍵😴

The Balmoral chicken was beautifully cooked, and the portion sizes were generous enough to leave us satisfied.
Breakfast options were somewhat limited, lacking variety in cereals and fresh fruit that would enhance the experience.

Lovely hotel with a great room featuring an extra large bed, perfect for my tall husband. The well-stocked coffee/tea/biscuit bar added a nice touch, especially the mini fridge with fresh milk. Attention to detail stood out, like the dressing gowns in protective covers and a toasty room with a mirror radiator. Staff were friendly, and the cozy lounge bar with its inviting fireplace felt welcoming. Unfortunately, I couldn't comment on the food since the bar and restaurant were unexpectedly closed during our stay, leaving me disappointed and scrambling for dinner. the cleanliness could use some attention. the TV remote and door handles needed a good wipe. Despite these hiccups, I would consider staying here again for the comfortable accommodations.
